Itaú has started registrations for the Impulsione Initiative, a program executed in partnership with Rafael Touro Academy of Finance. The aim of the project is to prepare professionals in the financial sector for the essential certifications required to work in the area.
Individuals who identify as Black or Brown, as well as those with disabilities, are the focus of this edition of the Impulsione project, and they will be eligible to receive one of the 1000 training scholarships available for CPA-10 and CPA-20 certifications.

With these certifications, professionals meet the basic requirements to work, among other things, in bank branches that serve high-income clients and retail clients.

The CPA-10 certification is aimed at those who work in the distribution of investment-related products. Meanwhile, the CPA-20 is designed for financial professionals dedicated to distributing investment assets to clients in high-income retail sectors, private, corporate, and institutional investors in the market.
It is important to remember that a professional with a CPA-20 certification can perform the same functions as someone with a CPA-10. However, the reverse is not possible.
Prerequisites to Compete for a Training Scholarship from the Itaú Impulsione Initiative
The necessary conditions that must be met to participate in the selection process for the project are as follows:
- to have a degree from a higher education institution or currently enrolled in a course, in any area;
- to have previous work experience in the commercial sector.
How to Register for the Impulsione Initiative?
Applications are now open and must be made online, through Itaú’s careers page, accessible via this link.
After registration, candidates will undergo interviews with members of Itaú Unibanco’s selection team. This process will continue until December 2023, during which time applications will remain open. A total of 16 classes will be formed during this period, and placement will be determined by the order in which participants registered.
As a final benefit, Itaú will reimburse the fees paid for the CPA-10 and CPA-20 certification exams for the professionals hired by the company.
