Learn How the EAD Course Will Work
Itaú Cultural opened 35 slots for EAD specialization courses, aiming to prioritize individuals with a completed higher education who have experience in the cultural field and at least three years in management. The EAD course intends to address Cultural Management, covering everything from leadership models to public policies. This sector was one of the hardest hit during the pandemic when everything came to a halt without any public policies.
With the end of social isolation and the reopening of spaces and events, a significant advance in the sector is expected, and many job opportunities should be available again. Thus, taking a specialization course is an excellent way to remain prepared for this recovery.
Classes for the EAD course will begin on January 23, 2023, and will conclude on December 11, 2023. They will total 360 hours, divided into 10 modules, two seminars, and a lab, led by educators, researchers, and artists.
The students selected for the EAD specialization course will have classes on Mondays, except during module 10, which will take place in the city of Petrolina (PE). To participate in this last module, candidates must confirm their interest between November 5 and 8.
Diversity is the Focus of Itaú Cultural
As the Itaú Cultural School is increasingly considering the need for a diverse workplace, it decided to open some slots for Black people, Indigenous people, individuals with disabilities, transgender people, travestis, refugees, and holders of humanitarian visas. There may also be an additional 5 slots for employees of the Itaú Foundation for Education and Culture through an internal selection process.
