The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM) announced a new public competition, as published in the Official Gazette on September 3, 2024. This competition aims to fill 52 vacancies in various positions for the areas of Teaching and Administrative Technical Education.
Registrations and Deadlines
Registrations for the public competition of IFTM will begin at 5 PM on September 6, 2024, and will extend until 11:59 PM on October 7, 2024.

The registration fee varies according to the desired position: R$ 75.00 for secondary/technical positions, R$ 130.00 for higher education, and R$ 140.00 for teaching positions.
Details of the Federal Institute Exams
The competition will include objective exams for all positions, as well as didactic performance exams and title evaluations specific to candidates for teaching positions.
The objective exams are scheduled for October 20, 2024, and will be held in the cities of Campina Verde, Ituiutaba, Paracatu, Patos de Minas, Patrocínio, Uberaba, and Uberlândia.
The locations and times of the exams will be announced on October 15, 2024, starting at 3 PM.
The objective exams will consist of 40 questions, distributed as follows: 10 questions on Portuguese language, 10 questions on legislation, and 20 questions on specific knowledge.
The preliminary answer keys for the exams will be published on October 21, 2024, starting at 3 PM.
Positions and Salaries
The competition offers opportunities for both Administrative Technicians and Teachers.
For the Administrative Technician positions, there are 31 vacancies available in the following areas: Administrative Assistant, Laboratory Technician/Electrotechnics, Laboratory Technician/Chemistry, Agricultural Technician, Information Technology Technician, IT Analyst, Accountant, Agricultural Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Educational Affairs Technician, and Technologist-Training.
For the Teaching positions, 21 vacancies are offered in the areas of Administration, Administration/Accounting, Biology, Technical Drawing/Cartography/Topography Rural Constructions, Physical Education, Electronics, Philosophy, Philosophy/Sociology, Physics, Computer Science, Languages: Portuguese/English, Languages/Writing, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Tourism.
Salaries for the positions range from R$ 2,667.19 to R$ 10,481.64, in addition to benefits such as food allowance of R$ 1,000.00, transportation assistance, and preschool assistance of R$ 484.90 per dependent under 6 years old.

Of the 52 available vacancies, there are reserved spots for candidates with disabilities (5%) and for black candidates (20%).
The approved candidates will be allocated to various campuses of the Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro, including the advanced campuses of Campina Verde, Ituiutaba, Uberaba, Uberlândia, Rectory, Patrocínio, Paracatu, Patos de Minas, and Advanced Uberaba Technology Park.
