The announcement also establishes tie-breaking criteria, where, in case of a tie between candidates, preference will be given first to those aged 60 or older, then to those with higher scores in the didactic test, and finally to the oldest candidates.
Furthermore, the selection process will be valid for one year, counted from the publication of the homologation announcement in the Official Gazette of the Union.
During this period, IFPR may use the reserve list to fill other vacancies that may arise at the Cascavel Campus.
Tests and Evaluation Criteria of the Federal Institute
The selection process will be divided into two main stages: the didactic test and the title evaluation.
The didactic test will take place on September 26 and 27 and will assess the candidate’s ability to teach classes in the subject of Chemistry.
The title evaluation will consider the academic background and other relevant qualifications, according to the criteria established in the announcement.
In the event of a tie between candidates with the same qualifications, the order of preference will be determined by age, giving advantage to the older candidate, if they are 60 years or older.
If there is still a tie, the score on the didactic test will be considered, and, if necessary, age will be the final criterion for breaking the tie.
