JBS Invests 50 Million Dollars in New Factory in Saudi Arabia, Creating 500 Jobs and Quadrupling Production Capacity.

The JBS, the world’s largest meat producer, announced the opening of a new chicken breading factory in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The inauguration is scheduled for November and represents an investment of 50 million dollars. This production unit is part of a larger strategy by the company to quadruple its chicken production capacity in the country, increasing to 40,000 tons annually. In addition, the new factory will generate 500 jobs, significantly contributing to the local economy.

Expansion of JBS Production Capacity

The new factory in Jeddah will allow JBS to consolidate its presence in Saudi Arabia, increasing its production of breaded chicken.

The unit will quadruple the company’s current production capacity in the country, which will increase from 10,000 tons to 40,000 tons per year.

This increase in production capacity is part of a strategy to sell higher value-added products in the region, which is an important market for JBS.

The investment of 50 million dollars in the new factory is one of the largest by JBS in the region.

The factory in Jeddah will create 500 direct jobs, providing new opportunities for local residents and strengthening the city’s economy.

The creation of these jobs demonstrates JBS’s commitment to the economic development of the regions where it operates.

In addition to the new factory in Jeddah, JBS recently opened a processing unit in the city of Dammam.

This unit has the capacity to produce about 10,000 tons of products per year. With this expansion, JBS strengthens its infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, where it already has eight distribution centers.

These centers allow the company to maintain an efficient flow of products to meet the growing demand in the country.

JBS Meeting with Saudi Government Representatives

This week, JBS Global CEO Gilberto Tomazoni met in São Paulo with representatives of the Saudi government to discuss new investment opportunities in the country.

Present at the meeting were the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, the Director of the Food Processing Sector, Khalid Al-Shehri, the Head of the Mining Department, Matar Al Harthi, and the Head of the Strategic Sectors Department, Fahad Al Jubairy.

Saudi Vision 2030 Program

The discussions during the meeting were aligned with the economic development program “Saudi Vision 2030”.

This program aims to connect investments with the creation of jobs and the promotion of a green economy.

JBS emphasized that the possibilities discussed are in line with the program’s goals, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable development and job creation.

Exports and Infrastructure

JBS is one of the main exporters of meat to Saudi Arabia, and the new factory in Jeddah will further strengthen this position.

With eight distribution centers in the country, JBS maintains a robust structure to ensure efficiency in delivering its products.

The company continues to invest in infrastructure to support its growth and meet the demand of the Saudi market.

The opening of the new chicken breading factory in Jeddah is a significant step for JBS in Saudi Arabia.

With an investment of 50 million dollars and the creation of 500 jobs, the company demonstrates its commitment to the economic development of the region.

The expansion of production capacity to 40,000 tons annually will allow JBS to consolidate its presence in the Saudi market and strengthen its strategy of selling higher value-added products.

The meetings with Saudi government representatives and adherence to the “Saudi Vision 2030” program reinforce JBS’s commitment to creating job opportunities and sustainable development in the region.
