The JBS, one of the global leaders in the food sector, is finalizing the construction of three modern feed factories, marking a crucial step in its ambitious expansion project. Located in Seberi (RS), Santo Inácio (PR), and Itaiópolis (SC) in Southern Brazil, the works represent a total investment of R$ 570 million.
JBS Driving Seara Production and Creating Local Jobs
The main purpose of this endeavor is to strengthen the inputs due to the great production capacity of Seara, a subsidiary of JBS. In response to the brand’s extensive investment plan in recent times, the new factories are expected to provide an increase of more than 1 million tons per year in Seara’s feed production.
Capable of boosting production capacity in poultry and swine sectors, the plan is also expected to generate over 300 jobs in the locations. The president of Seara, João Campos, highlights the technology of the factories, which feature modern automation and technology for input production.

Santo Inácio: Investment of R$ 145 Million and Creation of 80 Jobs by JBS
In Santo Inácio, JBS injected R$ 145 million into the construction of a plant covering 11,3 thousand m². The unit, which is set to begin operations soon, created 80 new job positions. The facility is therefore important for supplying the cities of Rolândia, Santo Inácio, and Jaguapitã.
Itaiópolis: Investment of R$ 194 Million for Two Innovative Factories
Meanwhile, in Itaiópolis, a total investment of R$ 194 million was made to construct a complex with two facilities, totaling 13,8 thousand m² of land. One of the facilities aims to produce feed. The delivery deadline is March this year and will serve over 200 producers and 300 poultry farms in the area.
Seberi: Investment of R$ 230 Million to Optimize Deliveries
Finally, in Seberi, the investment reached R$ 230 million. The facility is key to speeding up deliveries, reducing logistical costs, and improving supplier loyalty, creating up to 110 direct jobs. JBS, therefore, reaffirms its commitment to sustainable growth and job creation, strengthening its position as a leader in the food industry.
