Amid the pandemic and global crisis, JBS opens 3 jobs in Brazil

JBS said it would maintain investments in the order of 8 billion reais that it had announced for the next five years and generated 3 jobs amid the global crisis caused by the new coronavirus.

“Not only did we make the commitment not to lay off workers, but we also hired over 3 people (in recent months)”, said the global president of companhia, Gilberto Tomazoni, during the series of live interviews Economy in Quarantine, from Estadão.

The Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) requested, on Wednesday (03/06), the closure of the Caxias do Sul unit, due to the high rate of contamination of employees by covid-19

According to Tomazoni, since the beginning of the pandemic, JBS has sought health specialists to take care of the health of its employees.
