New Pickup From Jeep Will Arrive On The Market With Competitive Price And Body Larger Than That Of Toyota Hilux, Delivering 284 Horsepower, Several Technologies And Promising To Innovate In Off-Road.
Since its debut in the international market at the end of 2018 and with over a year of presence in the local market, the Jeep Gladiator pickup is now establishing itself as a strong competitor to the Toyota Hilux with the arrival of its 2024 line. This update, known as a mid-life refresh, brings important innovations to the Gladiator: the design has been renewed, new technologies have been incorporated, and it now includes optional packages specially designed to enhance the off-road experience. These significant changes promise to reinforce the position of the Gladiator pickup in the robust pickup segment.
New Pickup From Jeep Will Have 32-Inch Tires
On the outside, the brand has renewed the iconic seven-slot grille, making it smaller and more stylized. The piece remains wide enough to accommodate the characteristic seven slots; however, it is clearly thinner than before. The slots remain black, with neutral gray accents and body-colored outlines.
According to Jeep, there is also an important improvement in the cooling system. Along with the new grille, the Jeep pickup, which will arrive slightly larger than the Toyota Hilux, offers at least seven new wheel design options, which are fitted with 32 to 33-inch tires.

Under the hood, the 3.6 V6 Pentastar gasoline engine remains unchanged at 284 horsepower and 35.4 kgfm of torque. The transmission in the North American market can be either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic. The model comes in three versions, namely Mojave and Rubicon, with only the latter available here.
