Official Launch And Market Strategy Of Jovi In Brazil

On May 29, 2025, Jovi officially made its debut in the national market. The presentation event highlighted the V50 5G and V50 Lite 5G models as its first offerings.

The local production began in January 2025. To ensure quality, assembly lines imported from China were used.

The company already has commercial agreements with major retail names such as Magazine Luiza, Casas Bahia, and Carrefour. Additionally, operators like TIM and Claro will be key distribution channels.

Technical Characteristics Of The V50 And V50 Lite Models

The V50 5G features cameras developed in partnership with ZEISS. The main lens, ultra-wide lens, and front camera all have 50 MP sensors.

Its performance is supported by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of storage. The curved AMOLED display measures 6.77 inches with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The device has IP68 and IP69 certifications, ensuring dust and water resistance. Its 6,000 mAh battery supports fast charging at 90W.

The V50 Lite 5G is a more affordable version. It features 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 50 MP camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor.

Additionally, its battery has 6,500 mAh and also supports 90W charging. Both models incorporate artificial intelligence capabilities with the Google Gemini system.

Exclusive Discounts And Benefits Offered By TIM

The operator TIM also offers smartphones at promotional prices specifically for post-paid plan customers. For example, the V50 5G costs R$ 2,999 on the TIM Black Família 100 GB plan.

In comparison, the original price of the model is R$ 4,999, meaning a savings of R$ 2,000. The V50 Lite 5G, on the other hand, costs R$ 1,799 on the TIM Black Premium plan, or a discount of R$ 1,400 for its customers.

In addition to reduced prices, Jovi provides a package called “5 Star Benefits.” This includes:
