UFCG Is Offering 525 Spots in Its Free Online Language Courses, Including 25 for Spanish, 100 for French, 250 for English, and 150 for Portuguese for Foreigners and Speakers of Other Languages

The Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) has begun enrollment on October 10 for free online courses in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese for foreigners. In total, there are 525 spots in the language courses, including 25 for Spanish, 250 for English, 100 for French, and 150 for Portuguese for foreigners and speakers of other languages (indigenous and Brazilian deaf).

The language courses for Spanish, French, and English are exclusive to undergraduate and graduate students, students from the Technical Health School of Cajazeiras (ETSC), teachers, technical-administrative staff, and workers from outsourced companies of UFCG. The free online courses in Portuguese for foreigners are also open to the external community.

Each class will have a maximum of 25 students, plus 10 students on the waiting list. In each of the classes, 10 spots will be reserved in the courses “Daily Interactions in English Language” for students who have completed the “General English” course.

The filling of spots will be done in the order of enrollment, and the spots where the candidate presents the necessary documents, respecting the order of enrollment, will be accepted. Students can only compete for a spot in one free online course, except for the Portuguese for foreigners courses, in which students can enroll in more than one language course. The result will be announced on the 19th of this month.

Enrollments began at 12 PM on October 10 and will end at 12 PM on October 14, through electronic forms.
