Lenovo introduced an innovative concept during the Mobile World Congress (MWC): a solar-powered laptop. The Yoga Solar PC promises to be a sustainable alternative for those who need to work anywhere, without relying on outlets. The Yoga Solar PC stands out for featuring a built-in solar panel with 84 high-efficiency solar cells. According to Lenovo, the technology can convert more than 24% of the captured light into energy, a number higher than many silicon-based solar panels currently in use.
To give an idea of its performance, 20 minutes of direct sunlight exposure can generate enough energy for up to one hour of video playback. This means that on a sunny day, users can work for an extended period without connecting the laptop to a traditional power source.
