Maersk Supply Service Selected To Provide Integrated FPSO Anchoring Facility And Replacement Solution For A Major Unidentified U.S. Oil Company In The Gulf Of Guinea.
Maersk Supply Service will deliver the full scope of work, from project management to execution, the company said on Thursday. The responsibilities undertaken as part of the project include engineering, procurement, anchor equipment transportation, safety management, and offshore execution using four large anchor handling vessels from Maersk Supply Service, as well as ROV and survey services.
Maersk Supply Service has partnered with InterMoor, who will support the project with their expertise in engineering, design, and offshore execution of anchoring system operations.

The project will be conducted from Maersk Supply Service’s office in Aberdeen, with an integrated project team supporting from Houston. Planning and engineering work will commence immediately, with offshore execution expected in Q4 2019.
