Immediately, the factory will generate 200 job openings for the construction of the unit, and the rest will be distributed at the end, when the work is completed
On Tuesday, the 26th, Deputy Luiz Claudio Romanelli (PSD) announced the feasibility, made by the city councilors and Mayor Professor Zezão (Podemos) of Santo Antônio da Platina, of installing a new cardboard packaging factory from Brasil Park. The packaging factory will build a new unit of 20,000 square meters, with an investment of R$ 200 million, and create 2,200 job openings, with 200 job openings to be distributed immediately in the construction of the unit.
“The construction of development depends on this work among the mayor and the city councilors of Santo Antônio da Platina, setting an example for Paraná. The councilors unanimously approved a bill that provides for the installation of Brasil Pack in the city,” highlighted the deputy.
The bill from Professor Zezão, approved in the first round, allows the company to use a plot of land located along the PR-439 for the construction of the fourth factory unit in Brazil that will generate jobs. Initially, a building of more than 20,000 square meters will be constructed, employing 200 workers, and in the second phase, the goal is to double the number of employees to keep the industry operational.

Teamwork
Romanelli recalls that the installation of the industry in Santo Antônio da Platina had the commitment and joint work of Mayor Zezão Coelho and the President of the City Council, José Jaime de Paula Silva, known as Mineiro, who visited the company’s headquarters in Colombo, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba (RMC) earlier this year.
Brasil Pack is a company that manufactures packaging and packaging systems aimed at the food market, such as vacuum bags, cups, sealed pots, and containers for dairy products. In addition to its headquarters in the RMC, the company has two other units in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
According to the mayor, the expectation is that, in addition to opening new job opportunities, the industry will also help boost the local and regional economy.
“A factory of this size is very beneficial, especially for generating jobs and enhancing local labor. The Norte Pioneiro region has been attracting more and more industries from various segments, thanks to the investments in infrastructure in the region and the professional training of workers, as is the case in Santo Antônio da Platina,” evaluates the mayor.
