Brazilian Candidates Can Compete for Fully Funded Master’s Scholarships; Deadline is October 7
Applications are open for the Chevening program, which offers scholarships to the United Kingdom for Brazilians interested in pursuing a one-year master’s degree with full cost coverage. The initiative is funded by the British government and seeks people with leadership potential, regardless of their field of study or age.

Who Can Apply for Chevening Scholarships?
The scholarships to the United Kingdom through Chevening are aimed at Brazilian citizens with completed higher education, at least two years of professional experience, and proficiency in the English language. Check the main criteria :
- Be Brazilian and not hold British citizenship;
- Have completed a bachelor’s degree and be eligible to pursue a master’s in the United Kingdom;
- Prove at least two years of professional experience (formal or informal);
- Commit to returning to Brazil for at least two years after the course;
- Present a clear vision of how the knowledge gained will benefit the country;
- Apply for three different master’s courses at UK universities;
- Receive at least one unconditional offer letter by the final deadline.
The program also values regional, racial, and socioeconomic diversity among candidates and imposes no age limit.
How Does the Selection Process Work?
The selection takes place in two phases:
- Online application with submission of documents (diploma, transcript, CV, motivation letters);
- In-person interview in English, held at the British Embassy or regional consulates.
After this stage, approved candidates must prove English proficiency (e.g., IELTS) and present offer letters from their chosen universities. All processes are conducted through the official Chevening portal.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
The program offers full financial support, including:
- University tuition;
- Round-trip airfare;
- Housing and living costs;
- Academic and administrative fees;
- Participation in events and conferences in the United Kingdom.
