The Brazilian Navy launched the long-awaited competition notice for admission to the Naval Academy, with registrations starting today (23). The selection is for the year 2025 and offers a total of 54 vacancies, 42 for men and 12 for women. The competition is open to candidates who have completed or are in completion phase high school, according to the JC Concursos website. Check out the details and how to sign up!
Competition stages for the Naval Academy
The first phase of the competition, scheduled for August 31st and September 1st, will consist of objective evidence mathematics, English, physics and Portuguese, as well as writing. The tests will be held in 22 cities across the country.
Candidates approved in this stage will go through other phases, such as biographical data verification, health inspection, physical fitness test, psychological assessment and document verification.

Study and training routine
Those approved in the Naval Academy competition will undertake an undergraduate course in naval sciences with duration of four years, in boarding school. The course is scheduled to start on February 3, 2025, at the Naval Academy, located in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). During the course, recruits will receive salaries of R $ 1,5 thousand, in addition to uniform, food and medical-dental, psychological, social and religious assistance.
In the third year of the course, students Applicants They will be able to choose to specialize in one of the three corps of the Navy, such as the Navy Corps, Marine Corps or Quartermaster Corps.
Registration and requirements to participate in the Navy competition
Registration for the Escola Naval competition will be open from 8am today, April 23rd, and continue until May 8th, at 23:59pm (Brasília time), via the website CLICKING HERE. The registration fee is R$ 100, but bone marrow donors and CadÚnico beneficiaries can request exemption until April 26th.

To participate, candidates must be between 18 and 22 years old by June 30, 2025 and have completed high school or are in the process of completing it. After graduation, as a second lieutenant, military pay approaches R $ 7,5 thousand, in addition to additional payments according to the Armed Forces salary table.
