The Positions for the Navy Volunteer Military Service (SMV) Contest for Temporary Officers Are Open from October 23 to November 04, 2019.
The Notices of Convocation regarding the positions for the Navy Volunteer Military Service contest have been published. There are 344 positions distributed throughout Brazil. The expected date for the Objective Exam, which occurs annually, is February 09, 2020. Petrobras invests R$ 400 million in Navy research along the Brazilian coast.
The contest covers 344 positions for candidates with higher education. The initial earnings are for the position of Midshipman, with a salary of R$9,021.07, comprising R$6,993 in base pay, R$1,118.88 in qualification bonus (16% of the base pay), and R$909.09 in military bonus (13% of the base pay).

About the Contest
The selection process consists of 7 stages: 1st Stage: Objective Exam (PO) – eliminatory and classificatory; 2nd Stage: Verification of Biographical Data (VDB) and Document Verification (VD) – eliminatory; 3rd Stage: Health Inspection (IS) – eliminatory; 4th Stage: Physical Fitness Test (TAF) – eliminatory; 5th Stage: Title Exam (PT) – classificatory; 6th Stage: Assignment for incorporation; and 7th Stage: Incorporation.
In the 1st Naval District, which includes the states of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, and Southeast Minas Gerais, there are 20 positions for nursing, 12 positions for pharmacy, 8 positions for physiotherapy, 10 positions for nutrition, 20 positions for dentistry, 10 positions for psychology, and 3 positions for veterinary.
In the 3rd Naval District, which includes the states of Pernambuco, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, and Alagoas, there are 4 positions for pharmacy, 1 position for nutrition, 8 positions for dentistry, and 1 position for psychology.
In the 5th Naval District, which includes the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, there is 1 position for nursing, 2 positions for physiotherapy, 1 position for nutrition, 4 positions for dentistry, and 2 positions for psychology.
In the 6th Naval District, which includes the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, there are 3 positions for nutrition. The 7th Naval District, which includes the states of Tocantins and Goiás, offers 3 positions for nursing and 1 position for nutrition.
The 8th Naval District covers the region of Paraná and São Paulo and offers 1 position for physiotherapy and 2 positions for psychology. In the 9th Naval District, which includes Rondônia, Acre, and Roraima, there are 3 positions for nursing, 1 position for pharmacy, and 3 positions for dentistry.
Requirements
Must be a natural Brazilian; Be over 18 years old and under 45 years old at the time of incorporation; Have good conduct records; Have completed a higher education course relevant to the profession applied for; Be in good standing with electoral obligations.
Registration
The registration fee for the contest varies according to the Naval District, between R$ 120.00 and R$127.00. The period of voluntary service is 12 months and can be renewed for the same period for up to 8 years. Registrations can be made until November 4 at this link
