The Brazilian Navy Has a New Public Competition Open With the Goal of Available 671 Vacancies for the School of Apprentices. There Are Opportunities in Ceará, Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina.

The Brazilian Navy announced this Monday (05) the opening of a new Public Competition with 671 vacancies focused on male and female candidates for admission to the Schools of Apprentice Sailors – CPAEAM/2023. For EAMCE – Fortaleza, there are 113 vacancies for support, 104 for electronics, and 75 for mechanics; for EAMES – Vila Velha, there are 80 vacancies for support, 95 for electronics, and 51 for mechanics. For EAMSC – Santa Catarina, there are 51 vacancies for support, 51 for mechanics, and 51 for electronics.

Requirements to Participate in the Brazilian Navy Public Competition

Those interested in competing for opportunities at the School of Apprentices cannot be married, nor have a stable union or have children, be at least 18 years old and under 22 years old on June 30, 2024, and have completed or be in the process of completing the third year of High School.

It is also necessary to be a natural-born or naturalized Brazilian, of both sexes, under the terms of Article 12, I and II of the Federal Constitution, to be up to date with Military Service obligations and Electoral Justice, not to be in a position of defendant in criminal proceedings, among others present in the announcement. Participants who are approved in the Brazilian Navy public competition will receive a scholarship in the total amount of R$ 1,303.90, and will also be provided with food, medical-dental assistance, uniform, psychological, religious, and social assistance during the 48 weeks of the course.

After promotion to the rank of MN, the military from the School of Apprentices will receive a gross salary of R$ 2,294.50. Some of the vacancies in the public competition are reserved for candidates who meet the criteria described in the announcements.

Learn How to Register for the Public Competition of the School of Apprentices of the Navy

Applications will be made exclusively on the School of Apprentices page, from 8 AM on January 30, 2023, until February 12 of the same year, following the official Brasília time. To register, it will be necessary to pay a fee of R$ 40.

The classification of candidates will take place through a written objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, with 50 questions on general knowledge of subjects such as mathematics, Portuguese, science, and English, scheduled to be administered on April 2 of the following year.

Additionally, there will be verification of biographical data, physical aptitude testing, health inspection, psychological evaluation, document verification, and a procedure for hetero-identification complementary to self-declaration. The validity period of the Public Competition will end on the day the Infantrymen Training Course begins, on January 29, 2024.
