New Selection Process of the Brazilian Navy Opens Positions Without Exam. There Are Opportunities in Several Areas for Candidates Aged 18 to 41 Years.

The Brazilian Navy is calling interested Brazilians to participate in a new selection process for positions without an exam in the Voluntary Military Service as Temporary Corporal (Troop). The positions in the Brazilian Navy are distributed among the various Naval Districts across the country. Applications began this Thursday (January 16). To compete for positions in the Brazilian Navy as a Temporary Corporal, the candidate must have completed high school/technical education in the fields required by the notices of each of the naval districts.

Additionally, it is also necessary for those interested in the selection process of the Navy to be between 18 and 41 years old, and to be up to date with electoral and military duties.

Nursing Technician;
Dental Prosthetics Technician;
Electronics Technician;
Administration Technician;
Nutrition Technician;
Mechanical Technician;
Radiology Technician;
Building Technician;
Electroelectronics Technician;
Clinical Pathology Technician.

Approved candidates in the selection process of the Brazilian Navy will be incorporated for a minimum period of 12 months, which may extend up to a maximum of 96 months or eight years. During this period, the approved will receive salaries that can reach R$ 3,866.50, including benefits.

Applications for the positions without an exam for Temporary Corporals of the Navy will open this Thursday, January 16, and will be available to interested parties until January 26, directly through the websites of the naval districts in which the candidate is interested in the position.

The application fee is R$ 70. The selection process for positions in the Brazilian Navy consists of an Objective Test, Verification of Biographical Data, Health Inspection, Title Evaluation, Document Verification, and Physical Aptitude Test for Entry (TAF-i).

It is worth mentioning that a Corporal of the Navy, in times of peace, can command small military units of about three sailors on missions if working in the Marine Corps, or perform services related to the preparation of ships and naval forces if working in the Armada Corps. Those who are between 18 and under 41 years old and want to join the Brazilian Navy can apply for the selection process of positions in the Brazilian Navy, which consists of military personnel who are part of the 2nd class Reserve of the Navy, better known as RM2.
