To compete for positions in the Brazilian Navy as a Temporary Corporal, the candidate must have completed high school/technical education in the fields required by the notices of each of the naval districts.
Additionally, it is also necessary for those interested in the selection process of the Navy to be between 18 and 41 years old, and to be up to date with electoral and military duties.

Approved candidates in the selection process of the Brazilian Navy will be incorporated for a minimum period of 12 months, which may extend up to a maximum of 96 months or eight years. During this period, the approved will receive salaries that can reach R$ 3,866.50, including benefits.

Applications for the positions without an exam for Temporary Corporals of the Navy will open this Thursday, January 16, and will be available to interested parties until January 26, directly through the websites of the naval districts in which the candidate is interested in the position.
The application fee is R$ 70. The selection process for positions in the Brazilian Navy consists of an Objective Test, Verification of Biographical Data, Health Inspection, Title Evaluation, Document Verification, and Physical Aptitude Test for Entry (TAF-i).
It is worth mentioning that a Corporal of the Navy, in times of peace, can command small military units of about three sailors on missions if working in the Marine Corps, or perform services related to the preparation of ships and naval forces if working in the Armada Corps. In both cases, they can operate on land or embarked, depending on the needs and instructions from the sergeants.
