Brazilian citizens with complete high school education and technical professional courses in health, industrial, and other areas should pay attention, as the Brazilian Navy is open for applications from those who wish to serve as Temporary Corporals in the 7th Naval District, which includes the states of Goiás and Tocantins, as well as the Federal District. This is a simplified selection process with positions available without a competition in various areas.
Who Can Participate in the Simplified Selection Process of the Brazilian Navy?
To participate in the positions without a competition, the candidate must have completed high school with a technical professional course in the required areas specified in the notice. In addition, the candidate must also be between 18 and 40 years old.
Moreover, to participate in the simplified selection process, it is necessary to be a volunteer, a natural-born or naturalized Brazilian, have a clean record, which will be verified through a background check, be registered and in good standing with the professional regulation body for the position applied for, be up-to-date with electoral obligations, and be up-to-date with military obligations.

How to Register for the Simplified Selection Process
Those interested in applying for the positions without a competition in the Brazilian Navy have until August 16 to register directly on the 7th District website. The registration fee for the simplified selection process is R$ 65.
On the page, the volunteer will use the necessary information for registration and print the bank slip to pay the registration fee.
It is worth mentioning that the registration fee will be waived for candidates who are registered in the Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico), as outlined in Decree No. 11,016, dated March 29, 2022, and are members of low-income families.
The candidate requesting a waiver must print, fill out, date, sign, and personally deliver the documents specified in the notice at Com7ºDN. The approved candidates will join the Volunteer Military Service as Temporary Ranks, where the minimum duration is 12 months and the maximum is 96 months (eight years).
How Will the Tests for the Positions Without a Competition Be?
The simplified selection process of the Brazilian Navy will consist of the following stages:
- Objective Test;
- Verification of Biographical Data;
- Document Verification;
- Health Inspection;
- Physical Aptitude Test for Admission;
- Proof of Qualifications; and
- Designation for Incorporation.
The objective test will last 3 hours and will take place in the jurisdiction area, scheduled to be held on September 22. The TAF-i, which will be eliminatory, aims to assess whether the physical fitness of the volunteer meets the physical standards required for the provision of the VM in the MB and will be conducted according to the sub-items below, during the period indicated in the Event Schedule.
The physical fitness test includes swimming and running, and the approved candidates must swim the distance of 25 meters in a maximum time of 50 seconds for males and 1 minute for females.
