Health professionals should pay attention, as the Brazilian Navy is offering hundreds of positions without an exam for candidates with training in different specialties, ranging from pharmacy, nutrition, nursing, and physiotherapy to dentistry and medicine. The positions in the Brazilian Navy represent a great opportunity for those who wish to enter the military career in search of professional growth and financial stability.

List of Job Openings Without Exam Available for Health Professionals

The positions without an exam for the SMV of the Navy accommodate all naval districts and, therefore, the selection takes place at the national level, but the processes are managed individually by each Naval District.

To participate in the selection for job openings without an exam, interested candidates must have a completed higher education degree in the areas required by the public notice, as well as be between 18 and 40 years old. Approved candidates will be hired temporarily for a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 8 years. Among the positions in the Brazilian Navy for health professionals are:

  • Dentistry – Pediatric Dentistry;
  • Dental Surgeon (General Practitioner);
  • Dentistry – Implantology;
  • Dentistry for patients with special needs;
  • Dentistry – Dental Prosthesis;
  • Medicine – Various specialties;
  • Dentistry;
  • Dentistry (Bucomaxillofacial Surgery);
  • Dental Surgeon (Restorative);
  • Dentistry – Endodontics;
  • Dentistry – Orthodontics;
  • Dentistry – Periodontics;
  • Medicine – Emergency Medicine;
  • Medicine – Gynecology and Obstetrics;
  • Pediatrics;
  • Speech Therapist;
  • Pharmacy;
  • Nutritionist;
  • Pharmacy – Industrial Pharmacist;

Applications for job openings without an exam for health professionals are already open and will be accepted until January 6th. In total, there are over 500 vacancies aimed at the Voluntary Military Service. The opportunities are distributed among all naval districts in the country, which consequently increases the chances for Brazilians from all regions to participate in the selection.

Candidates registered for positions in the Brazilian Navy will be evaluated through stages such as objective testing, verification of biographical data and documentation, assessment of qualifications, health inspection, physical aptitude test, and designation for incorporation.

It is worth mentioning that those approved for the positions without an exam will hold the rank of 2nd Lieutenant Junior Officer. The remuneration, or pay, as the military salary is called, is initially R$ 7,490.00. However, with additional benefits, this pay can reach R$ 11,463.33. 

It is important to remember that those approved will be part of the Reserve Officers of the Navy (RM2). Interested individuals must apply through the website of the Naval District in which they are interested in the position. The application fee is R$ 140.
