The New Navy Contest Is Offering 10 Positions for High School Level, and the Notice Is Already Available, Check It Out!

The Brazilian Navy announced the opening of the public contest for entry into the Technical Corps of the Navy Corps of Ratings. There are 10 positions available for male candidates with a high school technical course in the fields of electroelectronics and mechanics. 

Registrations for the contest are already open and can be made until August 20. This is an opportunity to work in the operation and maintenance of submarines and nuclear facilities, strategic sectors for the Navy.

Contest Details

The contest offers 4 positions for the technical field of electroelectronics, covering specialties such as control systems and electricity. For the technical field of mechanics, 6 positions are available, distributed among the specialties of machines, propulsion, and engines. Interested candidates wanting to apply for positions reserved for black candidates must indicate their option at the time of registration.

Requirements and Accepted Qualifications

To participate in the contest, candidates must be male and aged between 18 and 25 years, with a minimum height of 1.54m and a maximum of 2m. Furthermore, it is necessary to have a high school technical qualification in fields related to the offered positions. For the field of electroelectronics, accepted qualifications include industrial automation, electroelectronics, electromechanics, electronics, electrotechnics, and mechatronics. For the field of mechanics, accepted qualifications include electromechanics, automotive maintenance, industrial machinery maintenance, precision mechanics, mechatronics, among others.

Contest Stages

The selection process consists of several stages, including a written objective test with 50 questions, including an essay. Additionally, there is a hetero-identification procedure complementary to self-declaration, which consists of the phenotypic identification of the candidate conducted by third parties. Other stages include verifying biographical data, physical fitness testing, psychological evaluation, and health inspection. The final result will be announced after all stages are completed.

The contest for the Technical Corps of Ratings of the Navy offers a unique opportunity for candidates with a high school technical qualification in the fields of electroelectronics and mechanics.
