Mark Zuckerberg Paid A Fortune To Build An Exclusive Minivan Inspired By The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT
Mark Zuckerberg, known worldwide as the founder and controller of Meta, continues to attract attention, not only for his technological contributions but also for his exclusive lifestyle. According to Bloomberg, his fortune is estimated at $209 billion, making him the third richest person in the world, right behind Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
With such purchasing power, Mark Zuckerberg has the privilege of ordering goods that do not even exist in the market, and a recent example of this is a custom automotive project, a result of his search for a vehicle that met his family’s needs.
Together with his wife, Priscilla Chan, the couple opted to create a car that combined the luxury of a Porsche with the practicality of a minivan, something that did not exist until then.

Modified Porsche Cayenne

In the United States, minivans are a popular choice for families due to their interior space and ability to transport multiple people comfortably. However, Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg wanted something different. Instead of buying a conventional minivan, they turned to West Coast Customs, a renowned automotive customization shop, to create a vehicle tailored to their needs.
The project started with the base of a Porsche Cayenne Coupe, an SUV already known for its performance and elegance. West Coast Customs made a series of modifications, including lengthening the wheelbase to provide more interior space.
The conventional rear doors were replaced with sliding doors, a common feature in minivans but rarely seen in luxury vehicles. This gave the car the practical look the couple was after without sacrificing performance.
Supercar Performance In A Minivan

Although it has undergone a series of modifications, the customized Cayenne retains the soul of a high-performance Porsche. Equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the vehicle is capable of producing 493 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque.
Combined with an eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, this engine allows the minivan to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in an impressive 3.1 seconds. In terms of speed and acceleration, this may be the fastest minivan ever built, at least among combustion engine models.
In addition to the modified Cayenne, Mark Zuckerberg revealed on his social media another vehicle from his collection: a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring with a manual transmission. The 911, like his wife’s Cayenne, features a custom paint job that links the two cars, demonstrating the couple’s taste for unique and bespoke vehicles.
The choice of a Porsche Cayenne turned into a minivan is not just an example of ostentation but also a demonstration of how Zuckerberg’s fortune allows him to push the limits of the market and create customized vehicles, combining luxury, performance, and family practicality.
