The MEC Is Open for Enrollment in Free Online Courses Focused on Professional Qualification. The Training Programs Have Workloads Ranging from 90 to 360 Hours.

The Ministry of Education (MEC) is open for enrollment in free online courses with certification. There are opportunities in training programs with workloads of 90 hours, 180 hours, and even 360 hours. Enrollment is completely free and open to people from all over the country. Spots are limited and will be filled in order of registration.

Training for Early Childhood Education Professionals

This course aims to qualify professionals from Brazilian daycare centers and preschools, contributing to the establishment of creative pedagogical practices that theoretically support the integral development of the child. It also aims to expand the knowledge of Early Childhood Education professionals regarding the development and learning processes in infants and young children.

Improvement Course in Education and Technology

This course has the general objective of complementing and enhancing the technological training of Basic Education teachers. It also aims to contribute to new forms of teaching and learning using technologies that align with teachers, incorporating some activities and exercises proposed throughout the studied modules into the classroom. Enhancing theoretical studies in this field of knowledge, fostering future experiences for educators.

Introduction to Computational Thinking

This course aims to understand the pillars of Computational Thinking and its use in problem-solving. At the end of the course modules, participants must correctly fill out the “research” section to issue their certificate.

Training in School Councils

This free course aims to provide training for education secretariat technicians and school councilors from Basic Education schools across the country with the goal of improving educational quality, with actions that promote democratic management and family participation in schools.

How to Enroll in Free Online Courses?

Those interested in participating in the free online courses must access the Ministry of Education’s Virtual Learning Environment (AVAMEC) page and select the desired course.

Candidates should read all the information carefully, such as objectives, syllabi, content, and other details. To apply for the free online courses, it is necessary to register with full name, date of birth, CPF, gender, address, professional ties, among other data.

Improvement courses are a means of ongoing training and are essential for educators who wish to continuously improve and develop their skills. The increasing competitiveness in the job market demands much more than a diploma.

Thus, the goal of these courses is to engage educators in improvement processes, such as projects, research, studies, and reflections, so that they can stay updated regarding changes and novelties in the education field, particularly with new methods, guidelines, and legal knowledge.

The Avamec platform is a collaborative virtual learning environment that allows for the design, development, and management of various types of training actions, such as distance learning courses, supplementary to free in-person courses, research projects, collaborative projects, and various other forms of educational support for the teaching-learning process at a distance.
