As disclosed by the National Coordination of PROFLETRAS, the selection process for 2025 is being conducted in various regions of Brazil, and interested parties have until the last minute of this Sunday to register.

The opportunity is open to licensed teachers in Language and Pedagogy, who work as permanent or temporary staff in basic education.

What Is MEC’s PROFLETRAS?

The PROFLETRAS is a semi-presential professional master’s program aimed at training teachers of Portuguese Language throughout the country.

According to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), which coordinates the exam, the goal is to qualify professionals in the field for teaching in a way that is more qualified and prepared for the current demands of Brazilian education.

Offering a model that combines distance learning and in-person meetings, the program allows teachers to balance their studies with their professional activities.
