MEC Opens Applications for the Free Graduate Program in Inclusive Education (PROFEI) at Various Universities across Brazil

The wait is over! MEC announced that applications for the 5th edition of the Professional Master’s in Inclusive Education (PROFEI) will be open UNTIL NOVEMBER 7. This program is a valuable opportunity for teachers across Brazil who wish to specialize and promote a more inclusive education. With hundreds of spots available in various universities, PROFEI is an excellent option for those seeking high-level qualification in the field of education with the free master’s course.

The PROFEI aims to train education professionals to act more effectively in inclusive contexts, addressing the educational demands of students with different needs. How Will the Selection Process Work?

The selection process for PROFEI 2025 will be competitive but inclusive. The detailed announcement will be published soon, but as in previous editions, it is expected that the selection will include an analysis of resumes, considering the experience and academic training of candidates. The program is mainly aimed at public school teachers and other education professionals who work in inclusive environments. Additionally, there will be reserved spots for affirmative action policies, expanding access for underrepresented groups.

Requirements for Enrollment in MEC’s Free Course

To apply, candidates must be teachers or education professionals who already hold a completed degree and wish to advance in their careers. Prior experience or interest in the field of inclusive education is essential. Furthermore, it is necessary to have internet access and an appropriate device to participate in remote activities, as the program combines online and in-person classes.
