The director of undergraduate studies at EAD UniCesumar highlighted the main points regarding the importance of E-learning in the current pandemic scenario.
“For a long time, when courses with this model opened, institutions made only an adaptation from in-person. However, this did not work well because the online format needs interaction and dynamism. Just having videos is not enough. It is essential to have other resources and good technologies,” comments Katia Coelho.
In addition to the richer experience that E-learning students have, it also makes it possible to fulfill the dreams of students who have had to postpone them for some reason. One of the great significances of distance education in Brazil, then, is to open more doors for future professionals.
“When we look at a distance learning student, it is not always someone who just graduated from high school. When this person enters EAD, they are behind dreams. They seek education to make life better,” adds the director of undergraduate studies at EAD UniCesumar.
