The mining company opens applications for a trainee program aimed at recent graduates and students from various fields, launching a completely digital selection model that starts this Tuesday and runs until December 19, at 11:59 PM.

The company responsible for the initiative is Aura, which decided to conduct the entire application process through WhatsApp, up to the final result.

This innovation is occurring in Brazil, where the app is widely used, and aims to expedite contact with participants, democratizing and facilitating access to the selection process.

The company claims that the choice for the digital format responds to the young profile of the audience and the desire to enhance efficiency in the stages of recruitment.

Applications Open and Requirements to Participate in the Aura Trainee 2026

The mining company opens applications for a trainee program aimed at professionals who graduated between December 2022 and December 2025, as well as students in their final terms.

Candidates from the fields of Administration, Economics, Geology, Mining Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Geological Engineering are eligible to compete.

Additionally, the company emphasizes that this year’s edition is global, allowing talents interested in operations in Brazil and other countries to apply easily.

Since all stages will occur via WhatsApp, candidates only need a mobile phone to follow the phases, making the process even more accessible.

WhatsApp as the Official Tool of the Selection Process

According to Aura, the decision to migrate the entire process to the app is directly linked to the digital behavior of Brazilians.

The country has about 147 million active users, representing 99% of the online population.

These numbers make Brazil the second largest market for the platform in the world.

Therefore, the mining company decided to adopt WhatsApp as the official channel for the trainee program since the third edition, in 2025, maintaining the strategy now in 2026.

Six Selection Stages Until the Final In-Person Phase

The selection process will consist of six stages, gradually conducted via WhatsApp. They are:

Verification of Requirements;

    Logic Test;

      Video Interview;

        Group Dynamics;

          Online Interview with Managers;

            Final In-Person Interview with Management and Directors.

              Thus, the last phase is the only in-person one and will take place at the location chosen by the candidate during the application. Available locations include:

              Almas (Tocantins);

              Apoena (Mato Grosso);

              Borborema (Rio Grande do Norte);

              Aura Operations in Guatemala;

              Aura Operations in Mexico.

              During this stage, in addition to the interview, participants will have the opportunity to see the mining company’s facilities, experiencing the work environment and company culture.

              Integration in March and Salary of R$ 9.7 Thousand Plus Robust Benefits

              The expectation is that the selected candidates will join the company in March 2026.
