About Samarco:
The company has two operational units: Germano, in Mariana, and Ouro Preto (MG), where iron ore was extracted and processed in three concentrators, and Ubu, in Anchieta (ES), where there are four pelletizing plants. The units are interconnected by three slurry pipelines stretching 400 kilometers, crossing 25 municipalities in both states.
Its main product is iron ore pellets sold to the steel industry in 19 countries across the Americas, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. In 2015, the year Samarco suspended its operations following the collapse of the Fundão dam, it produced 24.9 million tons, of which 97% were pellets and 3% were iron ore fines. That year, the company was the 12th largest exporter in Brazil and generated around 6,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Mining Technician
- Education: Mining Technician;
- Experience in Open-Pit Mine Operations and Infrastructure activities;
- Experience with extraction processes, mechanical dismantling, excavation, loading, transportation of ore, waste, and tailings, and stacking;
- Execution of peripheral activities related to the construction and maintenance of access roads, surface drainage, and slope maintenance;
- Experience with waste piles, ore piles, and tailings according to established operational standards, aiming to ensure that quality, production, cost, safety, and environmental goals are met;
- Registration with CFT and intermediate knowledge of the Office suite is required.
