The 2021 Trainee Program Opened by Vale Mining Company is for Candidates of All Undergraduate Courses

With operations, offices, explorations, and joint ventures spread across five continents, Vale is the second largest mining company in the world. Based in Brazil and operating in about 30 countries, the company employs approximately 200,000 people, including both its own professionals and contractors. Currently, the mining company is accepting applications for the 2021 Trainee Program. There are two programs: one for Engineering and Geology Specialist Trainees and the Global Trainee Program.

Engineering and Geology Specialist Trainee

Education:

• Only candidates graduated in Geology and Engineering between December 2017 and December 2020*
• * The company will consider cases of delayed graduation postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program lasts for 12 months.

What Vale Seeks:

• Interest in developing to eventually occupy leadership positions that require technical expertise within one of Vale’s areas (for example: mining, port, rail, geotechnics, pelletizing, capital projects, among others);
• Alignment with Vale’s values and culture;
• Systemic vision;
• Willingness to relocate or travel;
• Intermediate English.

Global Trainee Program

Education:

• Candidates from all courses, including Engineering, graduated between July 2018 and December 2020*
• * The company will consider cases of delayed graduation postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program duration is 18 months.
