Rafael Wandrey, General Coordinator of Innovative Entrepreneurship and New Businesses at the Ministry of Economy, emphasized that they are ready to support innovative projects: “We are prepared to help all entrepreneurs who have ideas to turn them into businesses and, in the future, turn startups into better products and services for the entire Brazilian market.”
The approved projects will receive support from 35 incubators and accelerators in Brazil. The projects will include at least 25 hours of training, with 15 being individual. The project to be selected cannot have a consolidated business model, and the service or product must not have been commercialized.
“At the end of the cycle, the goal is for all these projects to arrive with their business model structured and validated, with a prototype already developed, whether of their product or service, presented to potential clients, and also a sales pitch of their business, product, or solution, so they can advance in the beginning of their entrepreneurial career,” he said.
