Office in Barueri Elevates Sustainability Standards

Mitsubishi Electric Brazil has achieved a remarkable milestone by receiving the LEED Gold certification for its office located in Barueri, a metropolitan area of São Paulo. This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) initiatives, demonstrating its leadership in environmentally responsible construction practices and energy efficiency.

Commitment to Sustainable Practices

The recognition granted by the Green Building Council (GBC) through LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is not only a victory for Mitsubishi Electric but also a testament to the company’s effort to incorporate sustainable construction practices and efficient design in its workspace. LEED, one of the most renowned certification programs, establishes rigorous standards in energy efficiency, conscious resource use, indoor air quality, and innovation in sustainable construction.

Innovative Technologies and Energy Efficiency

The solutions implemented by Mitsubishi Electric in the Barueri office were crucial for obtaining this recognition. Among them, the Genesis64 building automation system (BMS/SCADA), the EcoWebServer energy management system, energy measurement with EcoMonitorPlus/ME96 multi-meters, the Jet Towel solution, and the air conditioning and climate control systems that emphasize rational energy use stand out. Furthermore, an internal survey revealed that more than 93% of employees are satisfied or very satisfied with the work environment and facilities, reflecting the company’s success in providing a comfortable and efficient space.
