The National Emergency Selection Process aims to create a registry of higher-level and technical professionals for screening and direct or indirect care for patients confirmed or suspected of Coronavirus (COVID-19), through temporary hiring for an initial period of 6 (six) months, which may be extended for the necessary time, with a maximum duration of 2 (two) years.

Participation and hiring of candidates belonging to the group of persons considered vulnerable are prohibited, according to the list below:
I – Must not be 60 (sixty) years of age or older, nor complete 60 (sixty) years within one year after the date of approval of the emergency selection process, as per Annex I – Schedule;
II – Insulin-dependent diabetes;
III – Chronic kidney failure;
IV – Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary emphysema, moderate or severe asthma, active tuberculosis or pulmonary sequelae resulting from tuberculosis;
V – Severe heart diseases, heart failure, and severe systemic arterial hypertension;
VI – Immunocompromised, except those affected by autoimmune diseases without the use of immunosuppressants, as per regulations to be issued by SOST/SEDE;
VII – Morbid obesity with a BMI of 40 or higher;
VIII – Cirrhosis or liver failure;
IX – Pregnant or nursing mothers of children up to 1 (one) year of age;
X – Responsible for the care of or living with one or more persons confirmed with a diagnosis of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
APPLICATIONS
Applications for the positions of Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Engineers, Architects, and Nursing Technicians will be open until 10 PM on April 6th, 2020, through the completion of the Electronic Application Form, attachment of Resume, Diploma, and supporting documents of Titles and Professional Experience to be scored (COPIES front and back).
