The German Multinational Siemens Announces It Intends to Allocate At Least 50% of All Internship Positions to Women. In Total, There Are 75 Opportunities in São Paulo, Anhanguera, Jundiaí, Belo Horizonte, and Curitiba.

Applications for the internship positions must be submitted by this Friday, November 18, covering both men and women. The multinational leader in innovation, Siemens, claims to be interested in having at least 30% of all its leadership positions occupied by women by the year 2025. Therefore, it has been developing strategies to achieve this equity, such as exclusive positions for this group. The number of openings varies by city, with São Paulo – Anhanguera (37), Jundiaí (28), Belo Horizonte (8), and Curitiba (2).

According to the company, interns will begin their activities in January 2023, while the selection process takes place in 2022, with interviews. Students from all engineering fields, as well as accounting, law, economics, finance, logistics, marketing, psychology, and secretarial studies, are eligible to participate.

According to Adriana Lima, Head of Recruitment and Selection at Siemens, the goal of the private institution, which arrived in Brazil in the 1980s, is to integrate new talent into the market. One of the requirements to participate is that students expect to graduate between 2023 and 2024. They are also required to be available for internship positions with a demand of six hours per day, either on-site at the company or through a hybrid model. The selected interns will have access to information about DiverSifica, the multinational’s diversity program aimed at inclusion.
