City Hall and Si&Mex Solutions GmbH Officialize Partnership for the Arrival of the New Semiconductor Factory

On the last Friday, June 28, the City Hall of Campina Grande, together with the German company Si&Mex Solutions GmbH, formalized the installation of an innovative semiconductor factory in the city. The signing ceremony was attended by Mayor Bruno Cunha Lima, Secretaries Gustavo Braga (Finance) and Tâmela Fama (Economic Development), in addition to the city’s attorney general, Aécio Melo, and representatives from the German company.

The Senator Veneziano Vital do Rêgo played a crucial role in the articulation of this project, which promises the transfer of technology from Germany to Brazil and specialized training for the local workforce.
