Units of Caçapava and Araçatuba in São Paulo Will Receive Resources to Increase Production and Youth Training Programs
The Global President of Nestlé, Mark Schneider, announced this morning at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes, an investment of R$ 1 billion in the State of São Paulo, at its industrial units in Caçapava and Araçatuba. The resources will be used to expand chocolate and child nutrition production and in technology for launching new products.
The investments are expected to take place over the next three years and were also signed with the management of Nestlé Brazil, whose president, Mr. Marcelo Melchior, was also present at the meeting and participated along with the governor of São Paulo, João Dória, in the ceremony that formalized the agreement for the development of projects that will contribute to increasing youth employability in the state.

Nestlé in Brazil
The president of Nestlé in Brazil said: “The State of São Paulo has great importance in our history; it housed our first factory and our headquarters. We want to continue on this journey of success, growth, and investments.”
The company’s first factory in Brazil was established in the city of Araras 98 years ago. Since 2014, the multinational’s investments in São Paulo have totaled R$ 2 billion, with four new factories in the cities of Ribeirão Preto, Caçapava (2), and Marília.
