Motorola presented the new Moto G100 Pro in China, but the device already draws attention for its powerful specs and premium features. Launched this month, the model stands out for offering an AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits — a rare number even among flagship phones.
The smartphone comes with Android 15, Hello UI interface, a 50 MP rear camera with Sony sensor, long-lasting battery, and aggressive pricing, starting at around R$ 1,058 in direct conversion.
Even with an initial launch limited to the Chinese market, the model promises to shake up the premium mid-range segment, especially by delivering advanced technical specifications at an accessible cost.

The New Motorola Moto G100 Pro’s Display Is Super Bright
The biggest highlight of the new Motorola Moto G100 Pro is undoubtedly its display. With 6.67 inches, an AMOLED panel, and 1.5K resolution (2712 x 1220 pixels), the display achieves a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits.
Additionally, the 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, and the Gorilla Glass 7i provides more durability to the device.
The fingerprint reader embedded under the display and the stereo audio with Dolby Atmos support complement the multimedia experience.
Generous Battery and Consistent Performance
Another strong point of the Moto G100 Pro is its battery life. The 6,720 mAh battery, made with silicon-carbon cells, promises excellent duration.
The 30 W fast charging ensures sufficient power in a short time.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor offers good performance for daily tasks and gaming.
The device is available in versions with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.

Competent Cameras and Above-Average Durability
In terms of photography, the new Motorola Moto G100 Pro features a 32 MP front camera and a rear setup with a main 50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor, complete with optical stabilization, and an 8 MP ultrawide lens.
To top it off, the smartphone boasts reinforced durability, with IP68, IP69 certifications and MIL-STD 810H military grade, ensuring protection against water, dust, and impacts.
Prices and Available Versions of The New Motorola Moto G100
The new Motorola Moto G100 was initially launched in China with the following prices:
- 8 GB + 256 GB: ¥1,399 (approximately R$ 1,058)
- 12 GB + 256 GB: ¥1,499 (around R$ 1,134)
- 12 GB + 512 GB: ¥1,699 (about R$ 1,285)
Although the name suggests a new launch, the Moto G100 Pro doesn’t bring many surprises. The model is actually a renamed version of the Moto G86, already known in the Brazilian market, with the addition of more RAM as the main differentiator. Outside of China, it will only have the option with 8 GB of RAM.
Still, the RAM increase may benefit users looking for better performance in multitasking and gaming, making the Motorola Moto G100 Pro an attractive option for those who value cost-effectiveness.
On the company’s official website, the Moto G86 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage is priced at R$ 2,199.
Now it remains to be seen whether Motorola intends to launch this variant in other markets outside of China or keep the model as a regional exclusive.
