The Ford Ranger XLT 2024 costs R$ 30 thousand less than the top-of-the-line Limited and offers a simpler look and a more streamlined equipment list. Despite everything, this version is packed with technology, power, and comfort to leave the Hilux behind.

However, after a few minutes inside the Hilux rival, it is possible to notice that the air conditioning is not automatic and that a key must be used to start the engine.
The multimedia system also has a smaller screen than the more expensive version. It features a 10-inch screen (12 inches on the Limited). Apart from this, the new Ford Ranger XLT 2024 offers a cabin that is as well-finished as that of the Limited.
Compared to other models in the sector, such as the Hilux, it offers a very high level of comfort for a mid-size pickup. It even includes air vents for the rear seats. It is also worth mentioning that the model comes with various features such as airbags, hill descent assist, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, and much more.
Is It Worth Saving R$ 30 Thousand On This Cheaper Version?
The new Ford Ranger XLT 2024 is available for R$ 289,990, the same price as direct competitors like the Toyota Hilux SRV and a technical tie with the Chevrolet S10 LTZ. While the model may lack some comfort items compared to competitors, it makes up for it with a more powerful powertrain, superior performance, and a good safety package.
Without heating up the comparison with the Ranger Limited, the XLT does make some concessions to be cheaper. However, the essential qualities of this new generation of mid-size pickups are also present in this more accessible version. Thus, it is possible to save R$ 30 thousand without regret.
