New 400cc Honda Motorcycle Launched in Asian Market. The New Honda CBR400R Costs Less Than R$ 30 Thousand with Sporty Design and Achieves 41 km/l.
The Honda CBR400R 2024 was officially presented in the Japanese market. The new model, like the NX400, focuses on this market, being lower capacity versions compared to the 500 family. With a design that resembles the larger sports bikes from the company, the new Honda motorcycle also stands out for its interesting fuel consumption.
New Honda CBR400R Delivers Up to 46 Horsepower
The price of the new Honda motorcycle is 863,500 yen, which is around R$ 28 thousand in direct conversion to our currency, not accounting for other expenses or taxes. The 500 line from Honda effectively becomes the 400 in Japan, due to local regulations and market needs, thus it should remain focused on the Asian country.
At first, there was no announcement about the arrival of the Honda CBR400R in the Brazilian market, considering that, here, Honda is indeed betting on the 500 line. Nevertheless, the CBR500R is also no longer part of the brand’s portfolio here.

New CBR400R Motorcycle Offers Fuel Economy Above 40km/l
The average consumption reported for the Honda CBR400R motorcycle is 28.1 km/l according to WMTC index, but the model can be even more economical. Riding at an average speed of 60 km/h, the model can achieve up to 41 km/l, according to manufacturer data.
The new Honda motorcycle is equipped with ABS brakes, in addition to having a traction control system and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
It is worth mentioning that the availability of 400 cc versions of larger Honda motorcycles in Japan is justified by the country’s legislation, which allows individuals as young as 16 to obtain permits to ride motorcycles up to this displacement limit. Above this threshold, only those aged 18 or older can ride in the country. This is why it is very likely that we will see one of these motorcycles being sold in Brazil in the future.
Honda Sonic 150R May Replace POP

This is a very well-equipped motorcycle that is worth acquiring compared to the Pop 110i. It’s important to highlight that the Honda Sonic 150R is a top-of-the-line version in India, featuring a completely renewed look and more sophisticated features, such as a conventional front suspension painted black and a completely digital dashboard that the Pop 110i lacks.
