New Offshore Expands Fleet With Maritime Fuel Supply Barge, Equipped With State-of-the-Art Technology, Certified Flame Arrestor And Crew Accommodations.

New Offshore continues to expand its capacity with the addition of a new barge dedicated to maritime fuel supply. With this addition, the company ensures high efficiency and safety in the fueling process of vessels. Effective fuel supply is crucial to ensure uninterrupted and safe maritime operations, meeting the growing industry demands.

The arrival of the new fuel supply barge is a significant step for New Offshore, raising its fleet to nine units. This strategic move aims to enhance maritime fueling service, offering advanced technological solutions and certified flame arrestors. The safety and comfort of the crew have also been prioritized, with state-of-the-art accommodations. This new acquisition reinforces the company’s commitment to providing reliable and efficient maritime fueling services.

Fleet Expansion And New Acquisitions

Currently, New Offshore operates with five barges, of which three are owned, in addition to three chartered tugs and a chartered tanker specifically for maritime fuel supply. The latest addition to the fleet was a customized barge designed to meet the rigorous demands and standards of New Offshore. This fuel supply vessel is equipped with generators featuring state-of-the-art technology, ensuring efficiency and reliability during operations.

In the tanks that store the fuel, pressure relief and vacuum valves have been installed, along with internationally certified flame arrestors. These measures aim to provide greater operational safety and significantly reduce environmental risks. Additionally, the fuel transfer connections use valves similar to those employed on oil platforms, further enhancing safety during maritime fueling operations.

Comfort And Continuous Operation

The new barge features accommodations for up to four crew members, with thermal and acoustic insulation, allowing the vessel to operate without interruptions, 24 hours a day. This factor is crucial for New Offshore to maintain the quality and efficiency of its services in the heating oil and gas sector. ‘Punctuality and safety are priorities at New Offshore,’ says Flavio Ribeiro, president of the company.

With the introduction of this new fuel supply vessel, New Offshore ensures the continuity of its high-quality services and is preparing for future expansions. The company is already planning the acquisition or chartering of new barges and ships in the coming months, aiming for an estimated growth of at least 30% over the next two years.

About New Offshore

New Offshore has its operational base on Caju Island, located along the shores of Guanabara Bay in Niterói (RJ). Additionally, the company conducts operations in Rio Grande (RS) and in the anchorage area of the Itaqui Port (MA). With the ability to serve its clients 24 hours a day, New Offshore remains committed to the highest international safety standards and quality in maritime fueling.

As a subsidiary of Bunker One Brasil, New Offshore is responsible for the maritime fueling operations of the company. Bunker One Brasil is part of the Danish group Bunker Holding, which is a global leader in the supply and marketing of maritime fuels, holding approximately 15% of the global market share. Bunker Holding operates in several countries with over 60 offices in 32 nations.

Global Operation And Local Experience

Bunker Holding operates globally, also serving as a physical supplier through Bunker One. In Brazil, the company stands out as the only maritime fuel supplier that controls all stages of the operation, offering a unique combination of local experience and global coverage. This allows New Offshore to provide efficient and safe maritime fueling services, aligned with the best international standards.

In summary, New Offshore continues to expand its operations and capabilities in maritime fuel supply, ensuring high-quality and safety services both now and in the future.
