Start and Expansion
Nova Piratininga began with the acquisition of land from businessman Wagner Canhedo by three entrepreneurs from Goiás: João Alves de Queiroz Filho, Marcelo Limírio Gonçalves Filho, and Igor Nogueira Alves de Melo. The purchase, made for R$ 310 million in 2010, is now valued at around R$ 3 billion just five years later.
