GreenYellow Signs 10-Year Contract to Build Solar Power Plant in RJ
The resource and construction of the solar power plant in RJ will supply 47% of the energy consumed by the Fleury Group in Rio de Janeiro through the brands present in the state, which represents 45 units including Labs a+, Felippe Mattoso, and LAFE – all at low voltage. The energy consumption of the Fleury Group in the state of Rio de Janeiro through its units located within shopping centers, public service centers, or technical areas where tests are processed currently represents 27% of the total used by the company nationwide.

Solar Energy Expanding in RJ
With this new 10-year contract and the construction of a new solar power plant in RJ, distributed solar energy has now risen to third place in terms of expanding renewable energy sources in the state.
Thermal power plants showed the highest percentage, with 63 plants and an additional 2,235.1 MW, representing 45.3% of the installed capacity for the year. Next is wind energy, with 1,725.8 MW in 53 plants, equivalent to 34.9% of the total for the year. Data are from the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL).
