- 1st Naval District (Rio de Janeiro): 24 vacancies
- 2nd Naval District (Salvador): 2 vacancies
- 3rd Naval District (Natal): 7 vacancies

- 6th Naval District (Ladário – MS): 3 vacancies
- 7th Naval District (Brasília): 3 vacancies
The positions cover three main areas: Science and Technology, Medicine, and Education.
Those selected will join as Corvette Captains, a senior officer rank, with an approximate remuneration of R$ 15 thousand, along with bonuses and benefits provided by law.
Who Can Participate in the Selection Process
The announcement allows for the registration of native Brazilians, aged between 18 and 62 years by July 6, 2026, who hold complete higher education and postgraduate degree (specialization, master’s, or doctorate). Depending on the area, proven professional experience may be required.
The approved candidates will work for a fixed term in the Voluntary Military Service (SMV), without creating a stability bond, but with all rights and benefits of a military career during the service period.
The contract can be renewed annually for up to eight consecutive years.
How to Register
Registrations must be made by October 20, 2025, on the official website of the Naval District preferred by the candidate.
The participation fee is R$ 140, with the possibility of exemption for registrants under the CadÚnico and blood stem cell donors, provided that the request is made by October 6.
At the time of registration, the candidate must choose the area of activity and the Naval District in which they wish to compete.

Steps of the Contest and Evaluation Criteria
The selection process will consist of a objective test of Portuguese Language, with 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of three hours, followed by title analysis and eliminatory steps.
Among them are the health inspection, document verification, and the physical aptitude test (TAF-i), which includes tests of swimming (25 meters) and running (2,400 meters).
For candidates in the Education area, there will also be a class test, where teaching methods and content presentation skills will be evaluated.
Only the best candidates in all phases will be incorporated as temporary officers.
