A new public competition from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Espírito Santo (MP-ES) is about to arrive. Last Monday (26), the bill 555/2023 was approved, creating 778 positions, which may be made available through a new MP-ES competition, with 601 for those with medium education and 177 for higher education careers, with salaries ranging from R$ 1,900 to R$ 4,000.

The filling of the vacancies should be done gradually, depending on the needs and financial conditions of the agency. Thus, it is still not confirmed whether all positions in the public competition will be offered in just one announcement.
New information will be released soon. In the case of medium education positions, the MP-ES competition now has 601 vacancies generated for the position of support agent – administrative function, which has an initial basic salary of R$ 1,900. For higher education, the distribution of vacancies will be 143 for the technical agent position and 34 vacancies for specialized agents.

The last public competition of the agency for civil servants took place in 2013, when 73 vacancies were made available for medium and higher education levels. The organizing bank at that time was the Vunesp Foundation.
For medium education candidates, the options were administrative support agent and microcomputer support agent. For higher education, the MP-ES competition offered the following positions:

Gratifications For The Medium And Higher Education Competition
According to Luciana de Andrade, attorney general of justice, there is a need to optimize work processes with a better alignment of the relationship “volume of records per server,” as well as creating new career opportunities, in addition to privileging and fostering training and professional and functional development.
Thus, the financial impact of these changes amounts to an annual total of R$ 1.1 million for MPES’s coffers.
Currently, the chief prosecutors working in the prosecutors’ offices in Vitória, Cariacica, Vila Velha, Serra, and Viana receive a function gratification calculated on the member’s salary, corresponding to 10%. Therefore, the PLC suggests that the chief prosecutors of the Prosecutors’ Offices located in other municipalities receive the same 10% gratification. At the moment, some of these Prosecutors’ Offices pay 8% and others 6%.
