V8 Supercharger Engine With 550 Horsepower And 700 Nm Of Torque
The model does not disappoint regarding what it has under the hood, featuring a powerful V8 Supercharger engine with 550 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. These characteristics give the model a top speed of 286 km/h, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds.
All this power generated by the V8 Supercharger engine has allowed the company’s model to set the record for the best time for an SUV at the Interlagos Racetrack, completing the 4,309 meters in just 1m54s.
For comparison, the best time achieved by Formula 1 on the circuit was by Valtteri Bottas, 4 years ago, with 1:10.540. Inside, the SUV features a Pivi Pro multimedia center with an 11.4-inch screen and InControl system, allowing interaction with smartphones and transferring 4G connection via Wi-Fi. The model also has an app that allows activation and deactivation of various functions of the model.
Jaguar’s Path To Sustainability
The British automaker Jaguar Land Rover states that its luxury brand Jaguar will consist solely of electric cars by 2025, with the mission of reducing CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.
Despite these ambitious plans, the automaker was slow to adopt electric car models. Until now, the only fully electric model from the brand is the Jaguar I-Pace SUV, which, however, is built by a contractor, not by the automaker itself. The company had to pay a fine of 35 million pounds in the European Union for failing to meet CO2 emissions targets last year.
