Jaguar towards sustainability
British automaker Jaguar Land Rover says its luxury brand Jaguar will only feature electric cars by 2025, with a mission to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Despite being ambitious plans, the automaker was slow to adopt electric car models. So far, the brand's only fully electric model is the Jaguar I-Pace SUV, which, however, is built by a contractor, not the automaker itself. The company had to pay a fine of 35 million pounds in the European Union for failing to meet CO2 emissions targets last year.
