Exterior Design: Exclusive Equipment Of The XLS Version
The external appearance of the Yaris Sedan XLS 2025 has not undergone any changes. The top-of-the-line version stands out with its uniquely designed headlights. They feature Daytime Running Lights (DRL) in LED, low and high beams also in LED. Only the turn signals are incandescent. LED fog lights are also present. The honeycomb front grille with glossy black finishes and chrome details gives a striking appearance.
On the side, the wheels are 15-inch alloy with 185/60 tires. Door handles and mirrors match the body color. The mirrors have integrated turn signal repeaters and electric folding. An exclusive item of this XLS version is the electric sunroof. At the rear, the taillights are LED (turn signals and reverse are incandescent) and there is a rearview camera. A negative point is the lack of parking sensors, both front and rear.

1.5 Flex Engine: Focus On Comfort And Economy
The mechanical set of the new Toyota Yaris 2025 remains unchanged. It retains the 1.5 naturally aspirated four-cylinder Flex engine. It has multipoint fuel injection and chain timing. The power, torque, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, and top speed are the same as the previous model. This XLS version features a plastic cover over the engine, which is absent in the other versions.
The hood is opened with a rod, without gas struts. The clear focus of the set is comfort and low fuel consumption, not sporty performance. According to Inmetro, the fuel consumption with gasoline is 12.7 km/l in the city and 14.9 km/l on the highway.
Interior Space And Finish
Internally, the Yaris Sedan XLS 2025 stands out with fully leather-wrapped seats, featuring white stitching and perforated sections. The interior space, especially in the rear seat, is a positive aspect, offering comfort for passengers. The center tunnel is low, making it easier for the middle passenger to fit. The rear seat has a headrest and three-point seat belts for everyone, as well as Isofix and Top Tether for child seats. It also has a central armrest with cup holders and two USB ports for charging. A negative point is the lack of air conditioning vents for the rear seat.
The trunk has also not changed in the 2025 line, maintaining good capacity, greater than the hatch version. It has “goose neck” type handles, which may take up useful space. The rear seat is split (60/40) and can be folded to expand the cargo space. The spare tire is of the temporary type.

It is a recommended vehicle for those seeking mechanical reliability, good interior space, generous trunk, safety (with seven airbags), and low fuel consumption. The ride comfort is also a positive point, aided by the CVT transmission.
However, some points could be improved. The absence of parking sensors is a notable flaw in the top-of-the-line version. The adaptive cruise control would also be welcome, as the emergency braking system is present. The steering wheel adjustment is only in height (without depth), and the lack of rear air vents are also negatives. The performance of the 1.5 engine may not satisfy those seeking more agility, although it meets the car’s proposed purpose well. The only effective change for 2025, the new multimedia center, may divide opinions regarding its integration and origin.
