Aiming to Contribute to the Shipbuilding Industry and the Development of New Programs in Brazil, Nuclep and Emgepron Signed a Memorandum of Understanding at NavalShore to Support Projects for the Brazilian Navy.
The NavalShore 2022 event, which concluded last Thursday (08/18), secured a series of partnerships in the national shipbuilding sector and enabled a range of projects to be carried out in the future. Thus, the companies Nuclebrás Equipamentos Pesados S. A (Nuclep) and the Empresa Gerencial de Projetos Navais (Emgepron) signed a memorandum of understanding to ensure support and services for projects of the Brazilian Navy. The partnership is now the new bet of the companies for the future of the Brazilian shipbuilding industry.
Memorandum of Understanding for the Development and Support of Projects for the Brazilian Navy Was Signed by Nuclep and Emgepron at NavalShore
During their participation at the booth of the Naval Technological Cluster and in the presence of authorities from various partner companies, Nuclep and Emgepron established a memorandum of understanding for the support and development of projects aimed at the Brazilian Navy.
The Brazilian shipbuilding industry will then benefit from the expertise and program solutions of both companies, enabling greater efficiency in Navy projects.

There is great expectation in attending to important projects from Emgepron, such as the construction of ships and even energy. This alliance brings a lot of security in the development and delivery of fundamental works for the country. Nuclep’s identity with the Navy is strong, spanning decades, and I thank once again for the trust that unites us.”
The commercial director of Nuclep, Nicola Mirto Neto, emphasized the high potential of the Brazilian shipbuilding industry to develop over the coming years, with the need for support from companies and, mainly, the Brazilian Navy.
He also mentioned that Emgepron and Nuclep reinforce the great relevance of Brazil’s naval sector, which has been carrying out a series of projects and solutions of utmost importance to the country. Now, with the new memorandum of understanding, this presence will become even more efficient.
