And of course, it incorporated ventilated disc brakes, a suspension with a subframe, and a hydraulic stop, raising the standard of quality and comfort for a vehicle of its class.

Marketed with 1.0 and 1.6 engine options, both 8 and 16 valves, the Clio adapted to the different needs of its users, varying its power and performance over the years. However, with the arrival of the Renault Sandero, the Clio was gradually repositioned to the entry-level category of the brand in the country, marking a significant change in its commercial trajectory.
