Os lençóis realmente são lindos, fui em 2023, mas a viagem para chegar a São Luiz, MG, foi terrível,l desde a decolagem de Campinas, vôo da Azul que saiu atrasado, devido a um passageiro que passou mal após término do embarque ainda em solo e na sequência uma acusação de assédio de uma passageira contra outro que estava ao lado dela, Resumo: Quase duas horas de atraso e certeza que perderíamos a escala em Belém. Assistência Material da Azul horrorosa e negligente, pois perdemos a conexão em Belém, como previsto, e ficamos 09 horas no aeroporto aguardando o próximo vôo que sairia somente as 22:30 hs de Belém . Solicitamos hotel para descansar, recusado pela Azul, e a surpresa: Um grupo de passageiros que estava no mesmo vôo teve hotel e translado até a hospedagem e retorno. Chegamos ao hotel em São Luiz e descobrimos que o nosso grupo de 4 pessoas não iria no veículo previsto, de quatro lugares, mas em um micro ônibus, que rodou por por diversos hotéis de São Luiz para pegar outros passageiros, 9 que nos preocupou, pois a passagem pelo hotel onde iríamos pegar o veículo para conhecer os lençóis a partir de Barreirinhas estava previsto para passar as 13:30 hs. O Motorista Mal educado, entregou as malas dos nossos amigos para hóspedes no primeiro hotel que passaram e não fosse o alerta que ela deu teria tido problemas ainda maiores. Fomos a última passagem e a essa altura , minha esposa estava em contato com a agência de turismo falando horrores para a responsável, pois como já previsto perdemos o passeio programado e depois de muitas reclamações, ameaças e pedidos de ressarcimento nos encaminharam um oi útero veículo para irmos conhecer os lençóis a partir de Barreirinhas. O outro casal ficou descansando no hotel e fomos eu e a minha esposa sozinho na pick UP Com 12 bancos na carroceria. Pior viagem que fiz na vida. 17 km de estradas de areia com buracos que somados aos bancos de madeira transformaram a vista as primeiras lagoas em um suplício, principalmente sabendo que teríamos que voltar da mesma forma. As lagoas são lindas, mas na chegada ainda nos separamos com uma escadaria de madeira de uns 90 degraus, não é um trajeto para quem tem problemas de locomoção. No dia seguinte, fomos para Atins de Barco pelo Rio Preguiças, um dos pontos altos da viagem. Boas hospedagens, bons restaurantes, e no trajeto da viagem peixe assado pescado no mesmo dia. Ficamos duas em Atins e retornamos a Barreirinhas onde pegamos uma Chevrolet Spin, para Santo Amaro. A pousada possuía água de pico totalmente insalubre, com mau cheiro e oleosa, que segundo os funcionários era devido as raízes das árvores e a pouca profundida do poço, nos obrigando a comprar água para a higiene basica e até para lavar os cabelos. A cidade possui um ou dois restaurantes bons e conhecer as lagoas a partir de Santo Amaro, apesar da estrutura precária, revelou ser melhor do que a partir de Barreirinhas. As lagoas em Santo Amaro não de fácil acesso, maiores, mais bonitas e permitem imagens melhores para quem quer guarda boas recordações. Na volta a São Luiz, já no aeroporto novo atraso da Azul e de imediato já solicitei a troca do vôo para não perder a conexão, trocaram para a Latam e tudo se resolveu. Resumo: Os lençóis são lindos realmente, mas chegar ao Maranhão e as cidade programadas foi demorado, uma tragédia, transformaram a viagem em uma péssima experiência. Não voltaria, ao contrário da viagem ao Jalapão, que apesar das estradas piores os veículos e pousadas disponibilizados eram infinitamente melhores e o locais que visitamos, como as comunidades quilombolas, fervedouro a, praia de rio e cachoeiras eram simplesmente maravilhosos. O Guia turístico que conduzia a Mitsubishi Pajero foi extremamente atencioso com conhecimento dos locais, fazia o trajeto de forma que chegássemos sempre antecipadamente nos pontos que escolhemos para visitar. Um local que vc eu voltaria, a melhor viagem que fiz no Brasil. Comida boa, bem feita, tipicamente do interior do Brasil, pessoas simples e simpáticas,, fiquei com saudades do Jalapão, ao contrário dos lençóis, pela dificuldade de chegar e a infra estrutura precária.
